Since the 1980s wines with a strong identity have been produced on Stellenzicht which appeal to both traditionalists and proponents of the modern international style. The cellar’s massive bulk-blending facilities conform to the highest international standards. At the same time provision has been made for the vinification of experimental batches in small stainless-steel fermentation tanks.
The cellar, with its clean lines and streamlined operational core, was designed for ultimate efficiency. Both functionally and technologically advanced, it accommodates an impressive array of fermentation tanks. The vast maturation cellar contains barrels of French, American, Russian and Hungarian oak.
Stellenzicht is open to the public. Cellar tours are on offer by prior arrangement.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 16:00. Closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday.
